Who you are:
  • Experienced: PhD in a scientific discipline or MD (sufficient work experience may qualify candidates without these degrees in some cases); 7+ years of medical communications experience including prior experience as a senior medical writer; experience as an account lead,
  • Client-Focused: You have a desire, even an obsession, to provide a superior customer experience to all clients of Twist Medical,
  • Excellent Communication skills: Attention to accuracy and language resulting in factual, clear, and effective publications,
  • Team player: You enjoy working in collaborative teams with writers, account staff, designers and service partners,

What you’ll be doing:

The Scientific Director role is a strategic role that combines competencies of scientific writing, reviewing, analytical expertise, strategic consulting, and an obsession with “attention to detail.”

In addition to having the relevant qualifications and scientific background, we are seeking a creative, entrepreneurial, and highly motivated individual to join the team. Day-to-day specifics:
  • Oversee the development of client deliverables including abstracts, posters, manuscripts, slides, strategic gap analyses, scientific platforms, advisory board presentations, key literature summaries, educational symposia content, publication plans, and communication plans,
  • Ensure that all content is of the highest quality,
  • Provide coaching and instruction on skill development to writers,
  • Write content, as necessary,
  • Work closely with customers to identify, prioritize and quantify key business drivers and ways in which Twist Medical can help customers advance these drivers,
  • Assist ‘Customer Experience’ team with account planning and identifying opportunities for account growth,
  • Help develop and deliver compelling and winning business pitch presentations that accelerate our growth,
  • Participate in cross-functional discovery sessions to identify innovative solutions,
  • Travel to customer locations in support of client projects.

What you’ll be doing:

The Project Coordinator role supports the account management team in delivering superior service on client accounts and managing internal workflow. This is an entry-level position that builds a foundation of industry knowledge and account/project management experience necessary for career growth. The Project Coordinator would report into our Head of Customer Experience, Heather Abanto.

In addition to having the relevant qualifications and background, we are seeking a creative, entrepreneurial, and highly motivated individual to join the team. This is an opportunity to join a team that looks to develop one of the best medical communications companies in the world. You’ll be part of a fast-growing company, building a world-class brand.

Day-to-day specifics:
  • Build knowledge and expertise on client accounts, project types, industry compliance standards, and basic therapy area awareness,
  • Develop expertise in publication management tools (i.e., J-Pubs), take ownership for accurate and timely tool updates and, for distribution and tracking/upload of publication reviews,
  • Coordinate collection of required documents and information to ensure smooth, accurate, and timely submissions to congresses, peer-reviewed journals, and non-publication compliance repositories (i.e., Veeva, ABM Tool),
  • Develop project timelines, track and champion progress,
  • Coordinate workflow through service groups and freelancers (i.e., designers, PPT specialists, programmers, editors, writers, etc.),
  • Calendar internal and external client meetings, and prepare supporting materials as requested (i.e., status report),
  • Maintain internal systems including correct and complete Box project folder organization and Timesheets job number opening,
  • Support monthly client finance tracker preparation and invoicing,
  • Ad hoc projects and administrative work (i.e., congress deadline research, project kickoff slides, etc.).
